Twitter opens up Super Followers Feature

Twitter has opened up its new ‘Super Follow’ option to all users on iOS, which will provide more monetization potential for creators, expanding the capacity for them to draw direct income from their biggest fans. Super Follows enables Twitter users with more than 10k followers to set a monthly subscription fee (up to $9.99) to monetize additional, exclusive content for their most engaged followers in the app. Learn about the new feature here.
LinkedIn Launches New Freelancer Connection Tools
After picking up 2 million users in a small US beta, LinkedIn is now rolling out its freelance services marketplace globally. The launch of this platform comes alongside other key updates from LinkedIn to support job-hunting in the gig economy and help the platform adapt to new current trends in the job market and how we work. It’s now available to all users globally: to set up a freelancer profile, you go to your own profile page, find the button near the top and follow the script to set it up and flag what you might be interested in working on. Instagram launches live-stream shopping events and free shipping

Holidays are coming and Instagram is going to host a number of shopping-based broadcasts over the last two months of the year, including weekly interactive live streams, starting this week.
A new feature, Gift Guides will also be accessible by tapping “Holiday Picks'' on the Shop tab in the app. This feature will highlight gift ideas by price range and share new tips from the Instagram Shop team on key seasonal trends and recommendations. Instagram will help retailers maximise their holiday sales by offering 20% off a users’ first purchase in the app, as well as free shipping on eligible purchases. Instagram Launches 'Add Yours' Sticker

Instagram has announced the addition of an 'Add Yours' sticker for stories that allows users to ask others to respond to their Stories and create public threads no doubt inspired by TikTok’s Duet feature. When users add the 'Add Yours' sticker, say with the prompt “OOTD" (outfit of the day), viewers can reply to the story with their own image. This new, interactive sticker is great for creating viral chains of content on stories – making it a huge opportunity for driving community engagement - give it a go and let us know how you get on.
